Who I am


Originally from St Louis, Missouri and currently based in New York City, Tara L. Daniels is an artist, educator, and activist. Through her paintings, illustrations, and other works, she tells the stories of marginalized people and also of herself. The name uniquevessels was bestowed on her by a family member who stated she was "one of God's unique vessels". She believes she is blessed to be a creator by The Creator and uses her ability to empathize with others within her work.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a minor in Art and a Bachelor of Educational Studies with a focus on Cultural Education (Magna Cum Laude, y'all).  She has the honor of being an inaugural Arts-In-Action Fellow for Betty's Daughter's Arts Collaborative. Additionally,  she is a founding member of of St Lou Fringe, an arts nonprofit dedicated to uncensored and unjuired performing arts. Currently, she works as a high school educator and an Organizer for Purpose Productions
